Rabbi Stephen Gold
Rabbi
is a New Jersey native from East Brunswick, attended Drew University, Madison, New Jersey, graduating summa cum laude in 1982 and was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He next began his Rabbinic studies at Hebrew Union College—Jewish Institute of Religion, (Jerusalem and Cincinnati, OH) earning his MHL and ordination in 1987. In 2012, HUC-JIR conferred a Doctor of Divinity degree upon Rabbi Gold in honor of his 25 years of service as rabbi. He was honored that same year by Beth Am Shalom for 14 years of service to the congregation.
