By now most of you know about my “MAKE A CHEMO HAT” Project. At this time there are 7 of us making these hats, scarves and shawls. To date (11/20) we have made and delivered 462 items.
This includes those delivered to Monmouth Hospital, Infusion Center in
Long Branch, and now to Community Medical Center, Kimball Medical Center and the Infusion Center in Howell.
Due to the large number of recipients and the fast growth of the project, we can use additional volunteers to knit and crochet and, of course, to donate YARN. It does not have to be new full skeins (that would be great), partials will be good, too.
All bags of finished product as well as yarn is to be dropped off at the
Beth Am Shalom office with your name & contact info inserted into the bag.
