On Friday night, September 4, Beth Am Shalom members enjoyed a delicious Pot Luck Dinner.
Melanie Giudice and her committee planned the event and the Religious School Committee provided hot dogs, hamburgers, and veggie burgers. The more than 50 attendees brought delicious salads, sides, and desserts.
Our Junior Choir, B’Nai Ruach, on their own, provided the songs for our service in the absence of our Cantor, Alissa Forman who is recuperating from surgery. Rabbi Gold gave one of his Story Sermons with students seated around him on the biome, joining him in the story telling.
The joyous service was followed by two Onegs, one for the adults, and the other, our fabulous ice cream Oneg for the students which they look forward to every first Shabbat of the month. The joy of Judaism was alive and well at Beth Am Shalom!
